Mike Imber is Kimbo Slice’s manager, the street fighting- back yard brawler and YouTube sensation that’s now a professional, heavy weight boxer. The duo go back a long time as they were good friends in school and always managed to stay in touch. Mike Imber is a business man that after seeing the waves Kimbo Slice caused over the internet realized what an incredible athletic talent and presence his good pal was. After witnessing this miraculous transformation that took place, basically overnight, Mike Imber submerged himself more deeply and professionally into Kimbo’s life.
This is so true in fact, that some may call Mike Imber the architect of Kimbo Slice’s career. The fact of the matter, is that every talent/artist needs some kind of direction/guidance, especially when you have to deal with the public/media. Mike Imber was perfect for the job, for two main reasons: He’s a professional business man that’s knows the chess game of the business world and he was also, first and foremost a friend of Kimbo Slice. Therefore, he’s looked out for him and has been careful as he’s transitioned from a street fighter to an MMA fighter and now a professional boxer, always looking for what’s in the best interest of his client/friend.
